Welcome to the Listing Meme.

Life Spying Meme

Remember back in January how I made that non-resultions list of resolutions? I thought I'd check up and see what I've actually done from it.

Oooh ooh! Yesterday I tested the screenprinting process on an actual shirt. Whilst it didn't come out perfectly (to be expected with a first attempt), it's still pretty dang cool! HEre is a photo of how it looks.



Slight problem with the image being too far to the side - can't tell really from this shot, but standing straight-on, the prince sotrt of hides around to my side - but all in all a pleasing result. I am in fact wearing my Rolling Prince shirt right now! I may do a second print of him, gwet him more on the fron of the shirt, but we'll see. Haven't really come up with any other designs to use yet - send any suggestions my way!

In othe rnews, inference put up some quiz thing and I am sufficiently bored to do it.

The other day when I was waiting for a bus after uni I pulled out my old Little Brown Book. I bought the Little Brown Book when I was doing NaNo and used it to record ideas and stuff, and I had it on me because I'd been rereading the notes, in their pure, sleep-deprived, nonsensical state. Anyway I was waiting for the bus and I decided to just start writing and see what came out. Here's what I wrote.

Ahh. So last night I had Mel over and we just sort of did our usual bumming around thing. WE just sat in my room, ate nachos (with disgustingly large amounts of cheese on them), then did nothing whilst we waited for Mel's arteries to clog. It was great, because whenever Mel comes over we both end up laughing ourselves shitless, which was exactly what I needed after getting all pissed at myself because of my not-so-great visit to Keith's. Talked to her about it and she basically told me I'm a retard which is exactly what I needed. Combined with Jess' 'positive' reinforcement it worked out well. However when I dropped her off she did slip in a "but if Keith is a good guy, it will all work out and yadda yadda yadda", which lost her some marks. FAIL, MEL.

I do love having Mel over, because I don't laugh that hard with anyone else, really. It's just perfect for unwinding from a stressful/annoying week and I woke up with the crick in my neck from the last few days gone. I can look up again, yay! Hopefully now, I can go have fun at Bess' party (sober...) anbd get some uni work done as well. I still look forward ever so much to the holidays, but it shouldn't be so hard now. Just gotta get those 30/40/50/however many studies ready for Thursday. Guh.

Also, I got a new hat! I will put up a photo of it later. For now, I'm gonna... Watch a movie, with MY MUMMY.

So lately I have been trying to compose a list of things that make me happy that aren't actually things. Less like 'my gameboy' and more like situations and feelings that leave me happy. So here goes! I couldn't come up with heaps of them, so here is what I have so far.

• Sitting in squishy/comfy chairs
  
• Wearing hoodies (but not wearing the hoods)
  
• Cats sleeping on my bed
  
• Cuddling and feeling sleepy at the same time
  
• Having a whole series of something to read/watch

So like, I found this doll maker thing through somebody's LJ and then I went retarded and made Dom and Tess.

I kinda want one of those Superman tshirts. Also it was really hard to make it look like Tess, because the girl doll was all superthin and girly. But this is what I mean when I say she is hot but not girly. She has shiny hair and a look of DOOM. I still couldn't find eyes that suited her.
